Curriculum Implementation

Priority #1 - Curriculum Implementation

Background/Why: Recently we focused on having all elementary staff members, not just K-3 grade teachers, complete the requirements of the READ Act. We accomplished this goal with 100% of our teachers and paraprofessionals completing the training prior to the deadline. All of our administration has also completed the required training in order to provide more feedback and engage in meaningful conversations about the science of reading. The JH/HS staff has engaged in a vertical articulation of curriculum and making sure that standards and content were being taught with fidelity. Revere is currently without a counselor but work on incorporating a focus on CTE options into student ICAPs has become a focus for staff. We consistently show that kids are meeting growth objectives but are still not meeting the achievement goals we would like to see.

  1. Obtain/purchase resources for tested areas aligned with Colorado Model Content Standards.
