Homecoming Week starts on Monday, October 13 - the King and Queen will be crowned during halftime of the football game Friday, October 17th.

Mixed-Age Reading in Action - Miss Karen’s 4th grade readers and preschool Character Ed group came together to listen, learn, and grow side by side. Meanwhile, 2nd graders shared a story outside with Miss Gentry.

4-6th Grade students held their draft to select the 5 NBA and WNBA players that will be their team for this year's Learn Fresh Math Hoops program! Students selected players based on their real life stats and will use these players for the rest of the season as we play and build math fluency! Students also signed their Coach Sportsmanship contracts and became official Math Hoops Coaches!

From the lab to the oven! Our Grade 7 scientists explored cellular respiration by baking bread with yeast. Yeast are tiny living things. When they eat sugar without oxygen, they make bubbles of CO₂ and a little alcohol — that’s fermentation! The fluffy holes in the bread? That’s CO₂ from fermentation — proof that even without oxygen, yeast can power up through anaerobic respiration. Science never tasted this good! 🍞🥖🥐
